Yves Saint Laurent

The men we consider the best dressed do not always wear clothes we remember. But, he puts everything together well and carries himself with great sophistication and confidence. Very simply - he defined his style!
Having your own personal style is important. However, being a gentlemen and illustrating proper etiquette and social graces are even more impressive. Set yourself apart from the rest by remembering to keep your elbows off the table while dining and chew with your mouth closed. The attraction quickly fades when you talk with a mouthful of food. Don't make your first dinner date your last.
The way you dress and present yourself makes a big difference in the way you socialize. You are your brand and your look is your logo. Your dress should send a clear consistent message about who you are, what you have to offer, and where you want to go. Define your identity and then dress to express it. Don't leave your identity up to fate and chance.
Only seven percent of communication is verbal. For every thought you have, there's a physiological reaction. Become aware of the signals you are sending out. Desperation, for example, comes through in non-verbal communication. Don't act desperate. Send a message that you "want to" be in a relationship - not that you've "got to."
